THE DRUMMERS Overture is an introductory book (Booklet) designed for beginners aged roughly 8 to 10 years and up who want to try drumming and percussion, but are not sure if they want to make it a serious on going thing.

THE DRUMMERS Overture introduces beginners  to the basic skills and knowledge that professional percussionists and drummers use everyday such as

- Instrument identification

- Counting and rhythm reading

- Musical terminology

- Using metronomes and

following a conductor.

Being only 30 pages makes it easy to carry and light enough to use on thinner, weaker music stands that are commonly used by beginner players.

Being thinner also makes it cheaper and easier to replace if it's lost or damaged, with the the plastic covers also helping to protect against spills and leaky drink bottles in school bags. The spiral binding allows for easy use on a music stand.
